Vijaya Marisetty

Prof. Marisetty is a leading authority in finance and fintech. He has more than 20 years of research and teaching experience at IIM, Bangalore, Monash University and RMIT University. Currently, he is working as a professor of finance at the University of Hyderabad. He received several awards and research grants from government and private bodies, including, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, India; Ministry of Education, India; Reserve Bank of India; National Stock Exchange of India; New York University, and Synchrony IT. His research is widely published in several international journals. He has done research consultancy work for World Bank and United Nations funded projects. He is the project lead for India’s first blockchain platform for farmer-centric value chain ecosystems: www.inclusivegrowthchain.com.

He teaches blockchain and fintech courses for executive MBA students at IIMs. He is a mentor and co-founder of Grus & Grade. He received PhD from Monash University and Post-doc from ISB, Hyderabad, and Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
